The poet’s desk

This sculpture by David Murphy is tucked away amongst the sand dunes and is a part of a heritage coastal walk along one of my local beaches….
It is a celebration of a lady called Nan McClelland who was an early poet and supporter of the arts in the early 1920’s.
I love the fact that it is slightly hidden, and unless you knew it was there, you would probably never even know that it existed.
I was thrilled when I stumbled across it yesterday
